Portraits with Purpose
I love being a photographer and I am thankful to have this very special gift. I have been given a unique opportunity to develop very special relationships through the time that I spend photographing my clients. I have always believed that giving back to our community is important. It is a privilege to give back by using my gift for a greater mission. Portraits with Purpose is my philanthropic initiative to raise awareness for the significance of mental health.
Portraits with Purpose sessions are open to any of my previous clients. These established relationships are so special to me and make these sessions more meaningful. Our time together will be relaxed and fun but what else would you expect since you know me! We will capture more fabulous images to add to your first collection of images from our first session together.
This is open for the guys and girls, let's just keep it simple and come as you are casual but not wrinkled. (wink!)
All the images will be in Black & White.
Social Media files are included in your session donation.
100% of the session donation and the money paid for products will go to the designated beneficiaries.
Donations of $250 or more are tax deductible and paperwork will be provided from the beneficiaries.
My inspiration for Portraits with Purpose came from The Project Beauty, created by Thomas Nguyen. Project Beauty is a fundraiser for organizations that offer mental health services to teens. Project beauty are mini sessions photographing girls without any makeup helping them come to know that they are beautiful, strong and confident.
Thomas has given me his blessing to start my own version of his Project that will be meaningful and open to all my clients.
Portraits with Purpose began in May 2020.
This philanthropic initiative began in loving memory of Parker Berman who died in 2016 and will forever be in our hearts.
